STL

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) opened on January 16 2014 in The Hague. The Tribunal was set up by the United Nations Security Council in 2007 to try the alleged assassins of then former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri who was killed in a massive explosion in 2005.
